Silverlake Craftsman

A 1911 Craftsman bungalow in Silverlake had been stripped of its character from a recent flip, so our clients, a movie producer and a writer, asked us to bring back some charm. With family roots in Italy, they wanted touches of European glamour while still echoing a laidback California vibe. We leaned into this tension between opposites- combining refined materials with a casual playfulness. Drawing from vintage European design, California artisans, collectible pieces and custom furniture, the home is filled with objects and art that spark conversation.
